Shawn has been working with clients and patients around the GTA in the health and wellness industry since 2006. Through both his own experiences, and his clients, Shawn developed a holistic approach to fitness, health, and therapeutics. Although his introduction to rehabilitation began as a movement specialist, he began searching for a deeper understanding of anatomy, physiology, and mechanics. This led to Shawn’s enrolment at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.
Shawn currently works as a Osteopathic Manual Therapist, whose foundation is built on Classical Osteopathy. By taking a holistic approach to care, treatments focus on finding the cause of dysfunction and not just treating the symptoms. With each treatment, the aim is to remove mechanical restrictions, improve circulation, and realign the body; improving the patient’s own intrinsic ability to self-heal.
